CCDD would like to welcome Dr. Benjamin Nunley to our practice. He will begin seeing patients on August 14th.
Dr. Benjamin Nunley is excited to return to his hometown of Huntsville, Alabama. After graduating in 2009 from Huntsville High School, he went to the University of Alabama and graduated magna cum laude in 2013 with a B.S. in Biology. From there, he moved to Mobile, Alabama where he
received his M.D. from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in 2017. Dr. Nunley spent the next six years in Birmingham, Alabama completing his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology at UAB.
Dr. Nunley’s goal since deciding to go into medicine was to return home to provide compassionate care to the people in the community where he grew up. He strives to provide the best quality of care to his patients by incorporating the most up-to-date treatments and latest techniques in the field.
He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA), Alabama Gastroenterological Society, and Madison County Medical Society. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and
board eligible in Gastroenterology.
Outside of his medical endeavors, Dr. Nunley enjoys time spent with his wife and three sons. He loves bonding with his family, watching college football and basketball, and spending time on the lake.
