Dr. Yousuf has been in private practice as a gastroenterologist in Decatur, Alabama for the past twenty years. He completed medical School at Sindh Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan.
After his internship in Internal Medicine at Woodhull Hospital in Brooklyn, New York he finished Internal Medicine Residency at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He practiced internal Medicine in Decatur Alabama for two years. He then went back to Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio for Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Liver Disease. He is Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
His wife Musarrat has an internal medicine practice in Madison, Alabama. His two sons Ali and Omer are in medical school and daughter Noor is an undergraduate at UAB. Dr Yousuf enjoys College Football and World Soccer.
